SID May Sweeps
Affairs of the Hart
Is Ethan Mr. Right? Kendall has to wonder. "Trust has always been difficult for her. She lost Ryan because she didn't trust, and she ruined other relationships because she was always testing. But with Ethan she said "I'm not testing it." And then she finds out who he really is, so she comes up with another test, and it is a whopper! Kendall is either going to help Ethan out or kick him out." By May's end, Kendall hopefully will have her love life figured out. "Are they going to stay together or not?" asks McTavish. "And if they are, what choices must be made to make that happen?"
New Women In JR's Life!
As previously reported by Soaps In Depth, "Amanda Dillon is coming back, and who she has turned out to be now that she's grown up and quite pretty [is the queston]." McTavish adds that Amanda's story will gather steam as spring winds down. "Her popping into the JR/Babe/Jamie triangle will give us some very nice stuff for May and throughout the summer." And then there is Di, who, as per David's plan, makes camp in the the Chandler mansion. "Who is Die really?" McTavish poses. "Tad certainly is on the trail, and David may have started something even he is going to be swept up by."
Ins&Outs
Crowbar Killer's Kid Teams Up with JR!
When AMC viewers last saw Amanda Dillon, the preteen was all supar and spice. But could it be that Janet "the Crowbar Killer" Dillon's daughter didn't actually fal very far from the tree?
When Chrishell Stause makes her AMC debut as Amanda on Wed. May 4, "JR gets another ally," headwriter Megan McTavish tells us.
Amanda, with brother Tim and Janet and Trevor, left Pine Valley in May 2000 to make a home in a new town, when Janet, after dodging a murder rap, went to seek much-needed psychiatric help. (Tim oh-so-briefly returned in July '02, only to literally vanish from the canvas after Maggie a few times.)
With no family left in Pine Valley -even her cousin, Hayley, now is gone -Amando turns up on the doorstep of JR, Hayleys brother, and "immediately starts stirring things up toward then end of May sweeps," says McTavish. "And she certainly arrives at an opportune moment, with the choice Phoebe has left Jamie." (See AMC's May Preview for more on that!)
Will Amanda quickly fall in line with the town's new batch of young and beautiful schemers? Maybe no ... maybe yes. "Is she destined to be as much trouble down the road as her mother was? That's the question," McTavish says. "She is a sweet, pretty thing --or is she?"
There is also a an add/promo on the back of the mag. At first I thought it was an add or something (that's probably what they were going for).
It says Get rich quick! Kendall did it and so can you! - This week Kendall nabs two wedding proposals from two different billionaires! -on top of that, another tycoon came to her with another (much more indecent) proposal! -Our girl says "yes" to all three!
I'm hoping that third tycoon is JR. Who else could it be?
